The best way to do things with them is go to the website and check the buses; then go to the store and purchase your tickets (the website includes transfer information). Calling really isn't going to help much.
The buses have a lot of stops and can run up to about an hour behind schedule if you go past or around NYC. Their tickets are VALID FOR A WHOLE YEAR ONLY IF YOU GET THEM FROM THE BUS STORE - NOT IF YOU PURCHASE ONLINE. Buy tickets from the store just in case you miss a bus or something comes up - then you can just board the next one - it's really helpful, trust me.
