Magnolia Place Bed & Breakfast

We had such a lovely stay at Magnolia Place! Ted and Terri were wonderful hosts. The rooms were cozy, clean and fairly updated. The views were fantastic. There was a cozy living room and Ted had a fire going for us at the the of the day (we were there in January!). They have a guest pantry with chilled water, board games and DVDs as well as cork screws and wine glasses. However the BEST part was definitely breakfast. Ted had coffee ready by 8am and breakfast by 9. It was beyond delicious. Homemade muffins, fruit and yogurt, Dutch baby, fresh juice. Breakfast was served in a sun room that overlooks the lake across the street. We had to leave early on our last day and were disappointed we were missing breakfast. Ted was incredibly generous and made us to go bags with hot breakfast and coffee ready to go before 7am, including corn muffins. Ted was great to talk to is very knowledgeable about the area. Their dogs Patrick and Irish were so friendly and fun. For people with animal allergies such as myself, the dogs primarily hang out in the kitchen and the host residence, and I saw no pet dander/hair in the living room or bedrooms. We enjoyed our stay so much primarily because of the warm hospitality. We will definitely be back in the summer when we can enjoy the porch and trails behind the house. Thank you Ted and Terri!
