We had a very bad experience with Diaz Ambulance Company. My wife had an injury to her hand and Diaz arrived on scene. My wife asked 2x whether the cost of the ambulance would be covered by insurance. The EMT said it would be fully covered because it was an emergency. It turns out that our insurance only paid for $50 of the $700 bill. Lisa Benjamin, the manager was extremely disrespectful when speaking to her. We explained the situation and she said we were just trying to get out of paying the bill. The next time an emergency happens, unfortunately we will have to ask for a different ambulance service or take the chance of driving ourselves to the hospital. I'm very disappointed with the service we received.
