I went there to get color, highlights & a cut. The hairdresser also had red colored hair so I thought I was in good hands. When I told her of other hairdressers first putting the color to my roots, then highlights to my end - she responded that it wasn't right. That if she did that I would there 1 1/2 to 2 hours. So she put highlights on first, then colored the roots. Of course the highlights processed faster than the roots, so I spent a lot of time getting it toned to a gold, not a light red as requested. Which then kept me there 1 1/2 to 2 hours. My color came out looking golden, even orange. Not red. When I was about to get the haircut she had one of her girlfriends getting a procedure (I think) a chair away. I waited for her while she spoke to her girlfriend about a man. I thought about getting up to get a different stylist, but instead went to get more coffee. That seemed to bring her to life so she then stopped talking to the friend and asked where I was going. At the end of the procedure I said my hair didn't look red. She stated how the highlights were golden. Sure they were white that is why I was getting applied toner for a loooooong time. I again said my hair didn't look red. She then said the color should come in a few days. Really. At the end of all this she told me her name. She didn't introduce herself in the beginning. I will say she gave a good haircut. And the receptionist lady was very nice and intelligent. The man who washed my hair, massaged my scalp and that day applied toner to my white highlights was very nice also. I would recommend this salon, just not this stylist. At least not for color - for a haircut yes. The salon is clean and well kept. Everyone is friendly.
