We went to the shelter to adopt two kittens or older cats. We filled out the application and was told the committee would review our application and get back to us. We called Friday and was told we were denied because she didn't like some of our answers. For example the space for age wasn't filled in- in it was written none of your business. This is age discrimination. One lady told us her mother was denied adoption because she was too old. Another lady was denied because her house was too cluttered. No wonder there are so many animals there looking for adoption.
