Cafe Kubal

Having moved from a state with a rich tradition of cherishing great coffee (Washington state) to the mid-west, we have had to search for great coffee. In CNY to visit family, Cage Kubal was an extreme stroke of luck. Preparing to hit the road home, the cafe was open at 6:30 am, and my husband was grinning as he returned to the car with his Four Shots in the Dark drink and an Americano for me. You can't hide the quality of your coffee in a "in the dark" drink. This is a drink that is x number of shots of espresso topped off with drip coffee. And Cafe Kubal's shots are larger than other shops, this was quite the drink....superb per my husband. As was my Americano which was just kissed with a bit of cream. Smooth, low acid, delicious. We will be stopping in EVERY time we are in the area (just like I always visit the Florentine Bakery in Utica if visiting in that area, for a pustie!)
