When you walk through the door at NCN, the first thing that is hits you like, a ton bricks is the obvious smell of human wastes, present on both floors. This shows that this facility lacks the basic attention to santition it needs. They keep the residents in wheel chairs every second of everyday and they are understaffed (but they are nice when you're there). But that is not the worst part of this place. When trying to get into contact with a loved one via phone, they make you go on a wild goose chase with extensions and numbers, which all seem to lead back to everyone except the person you are trying to contact.
Like stated above, NCN is overwhelmingly understaffed, which is not the fault of the workers. However, because there are not enough helping hands, if your loved one needs assistance, just keep in mind that your loved one will be waiting awhile for help. Overall, the staff has been friendly, and hardworking but they need to appoint more people on the floor.
