Cross County Shopping Center has always been the first go-to shopping center for me being a life-long resident of Yonkers. They renovated it a handful of years back and it looks great -- only negative for the shoppers is that you cannot enter the stores on the parking lot side...you must enter on the inner side of the mall by the inner walkways. Better for security purposes but less ease of access for shoppers. Since it is an outside mall, shopping can be hampered by inclement weather.
It is very convenient having a number of restaurants to choose from, and even a grocery store, hotel, and movie theater just on the outskirts or parameter is wonderful...Cross County Square Mall is an indoor shopping mall which is also very close by.
