Capital District Truck Center: Schenectady

Brought my 17' VW GTI here to get my downpipe installed, called and they said I could bring it in the next day at noon and pick it up later that same day, that was very convenient because my schedule is very erratic and unpredictable. Brought it in, gave them parts and they called me 2 hours later to pick her up. Their mechanic was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process from start to finish. Labor rate was reasonable considering most dealerships charge 110-150 an hour, they charge 125 which is acceptable for the professional mechanic they have on staff. He deserves it. If you have a European car that needs work or aftermarket work done I would highly recommend capital district truck center(obviously work on more than just trucks). Will be returning before winter to have them install a cat back exhaust.
