This place could have been such a great little gem. However, it’s not. While the interior is nice and cozy, the food isn’t worth it. I ordered French toast and it looked promising. The bread used looked to be of good quality and the portion was on the bigger side but, it wasn’t French toast. Grilled toast would be a proper term for what was served. It seemed to be just thrown on the grill without dunking the bread in and mixture first. When using a thick cut bread, the bread needs to soak in the egg mixture for quite a bit or else you just have grilled bread. My husband got the open faced turkey sandwich and the amount of gravy on it was overwhelming. This could have been okay if the gravy wasn’t awful. My son got a cheeseburger which was okay and he ate most of it without complaint. Don’t get the complimentary cookies near the register. They are filled with so much baking soda or baking powder you can’t even eat them. The reason I gave two stars instead of one is because the service was fine and the staff was nice.
