Marbletown Inn

This is a wonderful place, the kind of place that exists in your mind more than in reality. Where can you still find a restaurant that is still family owned and operated, with a wide menu, great service, excellent food with lots of room that is not noisy or overpriced. The salad here with house dressing is better than any salad we have ever had. The prime rib is worth the trip and the garlic bread on house-made bread is a treat. The mixed drinks are always perfect. We have dined here many times and on one very special occasion, George and his family hosted a rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding with 85 people. It was a fantastic success. Plenty of places for people to mill around, eat, visit at the bar, sit with the old folks, or mingle with the young ones.
