I had never worked with a travel agent before, but was feeling overwhelmed about planning my trip to Europe. My partner and I had a limited window of time and it was only 3 months away. Linda at Burr Travel made everything so easy. After speaking with her on the phone about what I was looking for, I set up an appointment. When I walked in the door, she had two options ready for me that were exactly in line with what I had asked. She spent several hours with me, pricing out different dates, and details, until it was just right and I booked it there and then. In no way did I feel pressured to book. Linda was quite clear that I should take all the time I needed to think it over. I'm just decisive.
When there was a slight issue with the vendor (not at all Linda's fault) that resulted in the price being slightly higher than the quote, she immediately got them back on the phone, prepared for battle. She said if they couldn't fix it, she would discount the price on her end, and even when they DID fix the problem (a simple switch of hotels), she still gave me a discount. You will not find better customer service.
I was the only client in the office at the time, so the other staff members would chime in occasionally to our discussion. I would trust any of them to book my next trip. They are all knowledgeable, friendly, and dedicated to customer satisfaction. They genuinely want you to have a fabulous trip.
I will be using Burr Travel again in the future, and I highly recommend them!
