Shady location- While walking to the subway, one block away, there were at least 15 uninformed police officers and multiple plain clothed officers responding to a street fight at the adjacent apartment complex you walk through to get to the metro station. Free breakfast- Breakfast is served in the basement. They don't turn on the heat in the basement, so the temps outside are what you get while trying to enjoy your first meal of the day. It isn't uncommon to see guests wearing their winter coats to breakfast. That being said, your sausage, eggs and potatoes will be cold as well as they sit in metal trays with no flame under them in the frosty room. Lobby- You can expect to be welcomed to this hotel by being just as cold in the lobby yet again as you are outside. No heat on. Instead, they provided there desk staff with small personal space heaters. Parking- SMALL. If you have anything bigger than a small Malibu type sedan, good luck! It took 10 minutes maneuvering my F-150 in and out. The parking lot is not on the ground floor and is located behind the hotel, it muggy hold 10 vehicles, but no more than that. For their hospitality, expect a $25/day+tax fee. Fitness center- Never kept up by staff. Floor is coated in dog hair, dirty towels overflowing out of the can, trash on the floor, weights everywhere. Conveniently located in the freezing basement with a thermostat reading 32 degrees and will not go higher. However, it will go lower if you so wish. Also, the water machine is empty and was the length of my entire 5 day stay as was everything else. It's open from 9-9, but be sure to tell the desk in advance if you want to use it, they don't unlock it unless you ask, and one day they left me waiting for 15 minutes to never show up. Didn't feel like dealing with it that day and just went back to my room. The rooms don't have a fridge or microwave but they do have a ghetto little coffee pot. Summary- If you don't mind wasting 15,000 Wyndham rewards points +$500 +$145 for parking have at it. If you do value your money, go elsewhere.
