Shibui Japanese Antiques

The place is a treasure chest that in itself is a treasure. A great collection of constantly updated items of often very fine quality. Some of the objects are also contemporary and some are more casual and more affordable. I like to visit often and just spend some time at the store. It is an intelligently put together collection that is prioritized by beauty and meaning, not designed to push out something that’s merely popular. I also visit Shibui for any questions regarding Japanese objects in my collection. The owner of Shibui and his friendly staff have been incredibly supportive always and I feel lucky that our office is just a short walk away. Truly worth a visit. For many reasons.
