*Vendors beware*
I was contacted by Kyle to bid on a college campus bookstore in my area. We had coordinated a time to meet with the store manager, while meeting with her she showed the areas she wanted done and didn't want done.
Later that week we did the job. They were asking if we could do a floor outside the scope. OK no problem let me get it approved thru Kyle. Kyle wasn't there I spoke to one of his Co workers who had a sweep and a mop approved. I walked thru with the employee on site (who was not a manager) said he was happy with everything.
The next day I got a call from Kyle and he stated the customer is completely unhappy. I asked him what the issue is and he stated that no shelves were dusted on that floor and the floor wasn't scrubbed. I let Kyle know that it was approved for a sweep and a mop and it would be a extra charge as a scrub and dusting of the shelves was never discussed. Kyle purchased those services and then refused to pay me in full for the initial service that was already not completed. I reminded him the customer was happy and it's not our fault the customer didn't want the service done to begin.
Moral of the story be careful with these guys they will use your money as leverage and blackmail you.
