Three of us dined here 2 days ago around 5pm. I have a Mothers day reservation and wanted to try it before that special day. I was excited to try this place because the menu sounded great, the reviews were great, it had a high rating, happy hour is my middle name, and it was a close location even though parking SUCKS around here. The drinks are $12ea and happy hour is $3off at the small bar only. Bad knees, no way. The drink board had so many flavors to add to your margarita or mojito and the three flavors for Red/White Sangria, so I thought for sure I'd have 3 drinks and. We sampled the Original Red Sangria and weren't blown away by the waitresses recommendation. We order a ginger margarita on the rocks that had no ginger or alcohol, a frozen passion fruit margarita that came with a cool breeze but not frozen so that was sent back for more Ice to be blended into it and of course that meant less alcohol, and we had a long island iced tea that was good I was told. The $12 margaritas were served in baby glasses, like the champagne glasses from the roaring 20's. And the LIT was served in a tall water glass. We ordered the pork medallions that were freezer burnt and 2 paellas. I had the Vallencia and the chicken was white (so gross), the chorizo was in a tough casing and the part I did manage to chew was pure fat, there were literally 2 pieces of shrimp placed on top, and (a substitute) mussels that weren't fresh. I at the rice with sweet pepper skin pieces only. It wasn't flavorful as a traditional paella should be. It tasted like oil, chorizo and sweet pepper skin. The other paella was just seafood but wasn't any better. Our bill was $136 of garbage in our mouths and a good deal of money that could have been better utilized elsewhere. For your time and experience I recommend going elsewhere. The only positive thing I have to say is that the staff was courteous whenever they came by and the manager/owner was sincerely pleasant as well but that is not enough to tempt me to come back again.
