Extremely, extremely disappointed with the quality of the embroidery and customer service I received. I chose Kristen Uniforms because it is so close to my house and family owned. I brought in two expensive cotton pullovers to each be embroidered with initials as a gift for a family member. The one sales girl who helped me was very nice and helped me pick a font and color. The price was $15 per piece. A little pricey for three initials, but I figured it would be worth the cost. Dropped off, and received a call to pick up after 3 days when they told me it might be two weeks. Great, I thought, super quick turn around! When I looked at the work closely at home I seriously could cry. Missing stitches, the letters are uneven and the underlay and outline are no where near each other!!! NO backing behind it. Clearly a issue with improper hoops and stabilizer, but someone should have never let it walk out the door. Quick, sloppy work they thought I wouldn't notice. I brought it back and first of all a girl didn't walk up to the counter for a good 2-3 minutes and didn't greet me. Extremely rude. I'm pretty sure she knew how horrible the work was, didn't apologize or anything as was annoyed I noticed the sloppiness of the work. She tried to tell me it was "just the font, it isn't missing stitches, it's just the font." Mumbling rudely "We've had problems with that font. I know it's the font because I do embroidery." Ita definitely missing stitches due to machine issues/fast work. Also, if you have issues with the font before THEN WHY WOULD YOU LET ME CHOOSE IT WITHOUT TELLING ME THAT??? Or Discontinue the font until you get it fixed???? And why were the outline of the letters and stitching not lined up?? NOT a font issue. Her manner was extremely rude, she said she could have the embroidery person look at it but it was just the font. I wasn't letting them mess it up twice, I'll take it to a professional thanks. She wouldn't look at me and mumbled said we'll I gave you a refund so it's done, no apologies no nothing. So extremely rude and unhelpful. Now I have two sloppy looking gifts and could cry. I have to go find another place who will take it out and redo with a patch and initials to cover the holes. Ruined the piece!! I'll post a picture of the work if I can here. I posted the work online and several commented what a horrible job it was and it should have never left the building.
