Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Dance

I feel lucky to have found Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Dance located in Brooklyn, NY. I began my journey at the age of 9 with piano lessons. These gradually turned into guitar lessons at the age of 21. I have always had a deep passion for music; it has brought a whole new dimension into my life. I now can't imagine my life without music and performing in it. My music mentors give their students a chance to grow, and develop into artists in the most organic way possible. Their knowledge of music and skills on a plethora of instruments is unmatched. Couple this with the professional and warm-hearted nature of Diana Trost who is the Founder and Executive Director of school, and I can't imagine why anyone would take lessons anywhere else. I felt compelled to write this review and encourage anyone with an interest or desire to play music to come down to Shostakovich School of Music, Art & Dance and get involved in this awesome community of musicians.
