We brought in our car to get the NYS Emissions Inspection. The car was stalling, the tachometer was racing, and the service engine light was on. It was not rolling if it was on a hill. They did some work on the car and charged us $1000. Consequently, when the car was in park on a hill, it rolled and did not stop unless the emergency break was pulled. Thankfully, no one was injured. They stopped it from rolling but they did not fix any of the problems that we originally brought the car in for, and they gave us the inspection sticker.
