Unique Fitness Xtreme

I normally don't leave reviews but I have to say I left this place with the feeling of cold, unwantedness. I went in to see if I can get a free 7 day pass, I explained to him honestly that I didn't use the previous and had the stub to prove it and but I guess he just assumed I was lying. Mind you I actually told him, if I was trying to get over I never would have mentioned anything. I left but wanted more information so I came back in and to my surprise I think he was talking about me with another customer. It has been a year since joined so I was excited and built up the strength to finally give it a try again. He was very quick with me and offered no information regarding joining. I will be looking for other gyms.

This location(shirley) is big with lots of weights and equipment. Although they could use more 20 pound dumbells. Gym is always clean thanks to the janitors who are very active. Some complaints I have is when you walk in certain people at the desk dont greet you. And when its about 30 minutes before closing time those same people turn off the tvs. Plenty of times I was watching tv and the employee saw me but decided to turn the tv off anyways and then had the nerve to just look at me and keep walking. How disrespectful! However there are some employees that ask me before turning off the tv which I appreciate very much. Aside from some rude staff I like this gym 8). They just need to tell their female employees to greet people like the male employees do. I spent like 400 for a year membership when I walk in there I expect to be greeted! Also If you go to their location in selden their monthly and year rates are cheaper for some reason???
